We can project an idea without the need for words; drawing is a cable from our mind to the paper. It's prehistoric, gestural, corporeal, physical. Visual language precedes speech and conceptualization. We all have our own clay to work with; the issue is how to shape it, mold it, and create our own language. In our journey, we will use trigger exercises to approach drawing from different angles. For those who have been working already, this workshop space is a projective instance, accompanied by production, opening the possibility of sharing our processes with others and generating questions that invite us to continue discovering where our research can lead.
During the workshop, we will explore references, conduct experiments around our personal interests, analyze works by different artists, think about how to serialize our production, and create our own methods.
