111º Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales
CCK
Comprised of 212 selected and awarded works, the National Salon will be present in the Grand Lamp of the seventh floor of the Kirchner from September 21st to November 12th. Curated by Guillermina Mongan, "Imagining Futures Sheltered by a Landscape" explores the multiplicity of times that coexist in the artistic practices of the Salon through thematic nuclei around the future, territories, their landscapes, and the relationship we have with them.
The National Salon of Visual Arts allows for the consolidation of a public policy that strengthens the diverse, egalitarian, and federal character in national contemporary art by maintaining quotas for female, non-binary, and transgender participation, as well as for people residing outside the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires during the selection of works and juries. This makes the National Salon of Visual Arts a place to collectively imagine and discuss the ways of constructing and inhabiting our reality, and especially our artistic framework.
Buenos Aires - 22.09.2023 - 12.11.2023
Mención Especial del Jurado: Traducciones que generan paisajes, Julián Pesce.
