Palais de Glace
The National Salon of Visual Arts is the most important art competition in Argentina, conceived in 1911 with the explicit aim of stimulating artistic creation. It is a federal instance, as it involves the participation of artists from various regions of the country, and democratic, as all works submitted are evaluated by a qualified and diverse jury. In this 102nd edition, 32 works in the discipline of Photography and 33 works in the specialty of New Media and Installations were selected for exhibition in the halls of the National Palace of the Arts - Palais de Glace.

The Palais de Glace has been a skating rink and recreational space for the high society of Buenos Aires in 1910, a protagonist in the incorporation of tango into city life between 1915 and 1930, a television studio from 1954 to 1960, and exhibition halls for national and international contemporary art since 1932.
